Other Ways To Help Those In Need
There are many things like this going on around the Tampa Bay area in the aftermath of Hurricane Milton. Also, on Wednesday, October 16, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers staff and players, including quarterback Baker Mayfield, will be at the Causeway Center to help distribute food for those in need. The Buccaneers have teamed up with Feeding Tampa Bay and will begin the giveaway at 3:30 on Wednesday.
Also, Governor Ron DeSantis said that the state of Florida has made major donations to organizations supporting first responders in the state of Florida. The fund has raised more than $12 million. The governor awarded $400,000 from that $12 million to four organizations, including the Florida firefighters charity fund.
DeSantis said at a press conference, “We want to make sure that those folks that have gone the extra mile for the community that they’re taken care of as well.”
It is refreshing to see organizations helping out the people of Tampa Bay in their time of need.
