Millennials Are Moving To This Florida City More Than Anywhere Else
Millennials are moving less than they ever have before, but when they move it is highly likely it will be to Florida. Hire A Helper, which is a moving company, did a study about where millennials are moving to.
Florida is one of the top retirement states in all of the United States. Now millennials are coming to Florida more than they ever have before. This study found that the Tampa/St. Pete/Clearwater area saw 59% net millennial moves. That isn’t the only Florida area to have a big increase. Jacksonville also saw a 54% increase. The net millennial moves means that it is a net gain in terms of millennials moving into the area in 2023.
The state of Florida is #8 overall for where millennials are moving to. They saw an increase of 38% of millennials moving to Florida in 2023.

- Las Vegas-Henderson-Paradise, NV: 56%
- Jacksonville, FL: 54%
- Nashville-Davidson-Franklin, TN: 53%
- Austin-Round Rock, TX: 47%
- Bridgeport-Stamford-Norwalk, CT: 40%
- Phoenix-Mesa-Scottsdale, AZ: 39%
- Oklahoma City, OK: 38%
- Richmond, VA: 38%
- Raleigh, NC: 37%
The study also found out a few more things about millennials who are moving to new places. They found that millennials who can’t afford to buy a home most likely will not buy a newer home because of the current mortgage rates. Renting is tough for millennials as well as the rental rates are 22% higher than they were in 2019. Finances are a big part of holding millennials back from moving part of the 50% of millennials that wanted to move could not because they could not afford it.
The top Metro area where people are moving out is the New York New York Jersey City area. That saw a 56% decrease in millennials. The state millennials are moving to is Montana. The top state millennials are moving out of is New York.
Florida is a desirable place to live for people of all ages.

These Are The 3 Most Photographed Tampa Landmarks
There are a lot of Tampa landmarks, but there are some landmarks that are photographed more than others. A website called BonusFinder came up with a list of the most Instagrammable landmarks in the United States of America. They also looked at individual states and three Tampa landmarks ranked as the most photographed in Florida.
They looked at 2,700 landmarks across the United States to come up with this list. They broke it down into different categories like this which places have the most hashtags on Instagram. Categories are national parks, casinos, state parks, NFL stadiums, MLB stadiums and zoos and aquariums.
The #1 overall photographed landmark in the United States is Central Park New York. That is followed by Broadway, New York, and then Times Square, New York. New York City comes in number 1, 2 and 3. New York City has six of the top 10 most Instagrammable landmarks in the United States.
The Most Photographed Tampa Landmarks
So here are the three Tampa landmarks most photographed in Florida. Coming in at #13 in the state is Busch Gardens. There were 114,633 pictures with #buschgardenstampa on Instagram. The Tampa Riverwalk came in at #15 with 91,350 hashtags. Finally, the Florida Aquarium is #19 on the list of most photographed places in Florida. Over 63,072 hashtags of the Florida aquarium were used.

Love that three of our Tampa landmarks land in the top 20 in the state of Florida. I wish there were more as there are many more that could be on the list. Just a few I can think of include Raymond James Stadium, Amalie Arena the University of Tampa. Ybor City would be a place that I thought would be on the list. I know it’s not necessarily in Tampa but in the Tampa Bay area how about the Sunshine Skyway Bridge.
