2024 Disney World Christmas Events Revealed
It’s never too early to start thinking about Christmas, right? The Disney World Christmas events for this year have been revealed and it sounds like it’s going to be a pretty fun time. Returning this year for the Disney World Christmas is Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party which will be at the Magic Kingdom. That will be returning on November 8. Depending on the date tickets will be $169 to $219 per person, plus tax. Additionally, Jollywood Nights at Disney’s Hollywood Studios will return on November 9. Tickets are $159 to $179 per person, plus tax.
You cannot go to those events with a regular ticket. Those separately ticketed events will run on select nights in November and December. Tickets for both those events will go on sale July 2 for resort guests and July 10 for the general public.
Other Disney World Christmas Events
Over at Epcot, there will be the International Festival of the Holidays. That will be starting on November 29 and run through December 30. There will be storytellers, entertainment and will feature Holiday Kitchens. They also will have a candlelight processional with a celebrity narrator telling the Christmas story. There is no word on who those celebrities will be yet. At Disney’s Animal Kingdom, there will be the Merry Menagerie. At Disney Springs there will be the Christmas tree stroll, and Santa will be making an appearance.

New & Original Characters
On the new ride, you’ll see some familiar faces like Mama Odie, Prince Naveen, Louis the alligator, Ray the lightning bug, and Tiana’s best friend Charlotte La Bouff. There are 19 new critters that you’ll soon recognize in Disney’s animated series Tiana, set to be released on Disney+ later this year.
Fireflies
A very common theme throughout the Princess and the Frog movie is fireflies all around the bayou, and who could forget Ray the lightning bug. As you embark on your journey with Tiana, you’ll come across hundred’s of fireflies during the ride. They are also incorporated in the murals and art all around the queue.
Tiana's New Look
You’ll see something new about Tiana on this ride that you may catch in the animated series coming soon. Disney costume designers ensured that her new look for the party was historically accurate and authentic to her character and is truly fit for a princess.
Salute To The Military
Like we mentioned earlier, one of the things that makes Tiana so relatable is that she comes from a military family. Her dad was a WWI veteran and there are little treasures and tokens of their relationship all throughout the queue of the ride.
Tiana's Beignets
It wouldn’t be a true Princess and the Frog attraction without some of Tiana’s famous beignets. You may have to pay close attention towards the end of the ride to catch them. Also in the queue you can find the recipe for her family’s famous gumbo.
