We accidently gave Thomas Rhett his next song title when he called into the show this morning to chat about the tour and his family life.   Thomas Rhett is coming to Amway Center in Orlando this Saturday night with Cole Swindell and Nate Smith.  This is going to be an amazing show.  Thomas did say he was going to spend some time at Disney with the family since he’s in Orlando.

How We Accidently Gave Thomas Rhett His Next Song Title

We talked about songwriting during our conversation.   How does he keep coming up with all these amazing love songs.  His answer was that he said you have to come up with a different way to say I love you.  Then we realized that would be a great title of his next sings.  “A Different Way To Say I Love You”.  If he releases a song with those lyrics, then we could be getting some royalties for that.  Watch the video for proof of that.  Has  a nice ring to it.  “A Different Way To Say I Love You”.

Thomas Talks About His Family

Family life for Thomas is good and busy.  When he’s not on the road, he is just like us and at home being a dad and a good husband.  Taking out the trash, driving the kids to school and more.  Lauren, his wife is the head of the house and he said she is well liked by his fans.  He even mentioned that sometimes his fans gets bummed out when she doesn’t come to the shows.  Lauren has her own book, podcast and more you can find at her website.

Thomas Rhett Akins Jr. was born in Valdosta, Georgia, on March 30, 1990. Rhett’s father is well known singer-songwriter Rhett Akins.

Rhett and his father have written songs together and their “Star of the Show” reached No. 1 in 2017. Akins was also one of the co-writers on “It Goes Like This,” which in 2013 became Rhett’s first No. 1 song.  October 12, 2012, Rhett wed Lauren Gregory (Lauren Akins).  The two share a long history, having met in kindergarten, attended the same church camp and dated a bit in high school.

    This song is written primarily for weddings. The video features footage from Smyers’ and Mooney’s 2017 weddings, including the grooms’ first looks at their brides, the brides walking down the aisle, and the couples’ introductions at their respective receptions.

    This song is an amazing love letter to Thomas’ wife, Lauren, who appears in the video. The video was shot on location on the North Shore of Oahu in Hawaii.

  • 1 - "Forever After All" - (2020)

    While there are many country music songs for a wedding, this one is a no-brainer. The song’s official video features clips from Luke’s August 2020 wedding to Nicole Hocking.

Since then, they have been nominated for not only a CMA but also an ACM. Launa has been in radio for the past 28 years and in the Tampa Bay market for 22 of those years.
