Even though it does raise the temperature, it’s so relaxing to run your hands and feet through that soft, pillowy sand. Tripstodiscover.com recently posted their rankings for the 16 prettiest white sand beaches in America. Florida had the most destinations on the list with 4 beaches. Behind them was Hawaii with three beaches on the list. Some of the Florida beaches on their list are pretty obvious, since they’ve been voted best beach in the country on numerous occasions. But we’ll get to that later…

    Siesta Key has also been commonly known for their gorgeous white sand beaches. And if you’d like to get away from the large beach crowds, this spot is even better. Best of all the sand is made up of nearly all quartz. This means that you can actually walk barefoot on the beach without burning the bottom of your feet.

  • Caladesi Island - Dunedin

    We feel that Caladesi is one of the most underrated beaches in the Tampa Bay area. Most people just settle for the Dunedin Causeway but it’s so worth it to take the ferry over to the island where there are usually less people.
