Major is a good friend and wants to be your best friend. He is our Mutt Monday dog this week. His name is Major, and he definitely fits it! He is a major sweetheart, major athlete, major goofball and will be a majorly good friend! Major is a 3 1/2 year old, 52 pound All American boy.  Major was out on Saturday’s Pets Day Out in St. Pete and had a blast meeting new dogs and humans.

Major is our Mutt Monday dog this week and he is available at Pet Pal Animal Shelter in St. Pete.

Four Tampa restaurants have been named as some of the most romantic in America. This is according to Opentable, which released their list of the "100 Most Romantic Restaurants in America for 2023".

Opentable says on their website, "Food is its own love language, but when it’s served in a cozy room or a candlelit booth? Guaranteed fireworks. For those looking for a quintessential Valentine’s Day dining experience, start with the most romantic restaurants across the US, created by analyzing over 13 million reviews."

Valentine's Day is coming up on February 14th and if you need a place to have dinner that night this list should help. Getting a reservation on Valentine's Day is always tough, so make sure you get one soon.

Nine Florida restaurants made into the Top 100. Latitudes in Key West is one of them and Truluck's in Naples is also on the list. Finally, Kyle G's Prime Seafood in Stuart is also on the list. There is also one in Sarasota and that place is the Dry Dock Waterfront Grill on Longboat Key. It overlooks Sarasota Bay where you might see dolphins and pelicans while dining.

The website Brides put together the list of the top 20 best cities in United States for a romantic getaway. There are two Florida cities that made the top 20. Firstly, coming in at number six is Miami. Finally the other Florida city that comes in in the top 20 is Amelia Island. They didn’t do a study about this. They just came up with a list from their writers. Even though Tampa isn't on the list there many romantic things to do here. It is reflected in the restaurants that were picked.

Located in front of International Plaza Ocean Prime has locations all over the country. The one in Tampa made the list though. Located on Boy Scout Blvd. their website says, "Our culinary team has designed a contemporary American menu infused with flavors from around the world. Each dish is made fresh in our scratch kitchen, incorporating peak-of-season ingredients, and listed with a bin number to guide you to your selection’s perfect wine match."

Located on Cypress Street. Their website says, "Charley’s Steak House focuses on providing guests with the highest quality steaks and seafood available. With a variety of steaks featuring naturally organic, Bison, and Wagyu selections, Charley’s guarantees the most unique dining experience in Central Florida."
