Brandy Gets Choked Up Honoring Her Husband For First Responder Friday
Brandy gets choked up honoring her husband, Shawn, for First Responder Friday. Shawn is the first responder we are recognizing this week.
Shawn is a paramedic and has been for 15 years now. Originally from Dayton, Ohio he has been living in Lakeland for 5 years. We asked his wife, Brandy, what drew him to be a paramedic. She answered, “I think just his genuine nature of caring for people and wanting to help leave people better than he found them.”
Brandy Gets Choked Up Talking About Her Husband
Brandy gets choked up honoring her husband, Shawn, for First Responder Friday because of something she wrote she she nominated him. She wrote, “I remind him all of the time how lucky those who are in his care are to have him by their side.”
We just loved the way she described him. She said, “That just gave me goosebumps hearing you say that. And even just writing that makes me choke up, because I love him for what he does.”
Shawn loves being outdoors when he isn’t working and loves watching sports especially baseball and football. He is also an avid golfer and loves to go fishing. Shawn and Brandy are happy to be in Florida away from the snow in Ohio.
