St. Pete Police Officer Helps People Even When He’s Off Duty
A St. Pete Police Officer helps people even when he’s off duty. Josh is the first responder we are honoring for First Responder Friday this week.
When his wife, Tamara, first met Josh he in school to be a firefighter. After they got married he decided that being a police officer is what he wanted to do.
Josh has been an officer with the St. Pete Police Officer for around 8 years. Tamara told us when she nominated him, “His desire to help and change the community doesn’t stop at work, he’ll help the stranger with a flat tire, he’ll help the neighbor who has a leaky faucet. His desire to help and keep people safe is admirable.”
When we talked to Tamara on the phone she added this about her husband’s generosity, “He’ll be the first one to pull over to help you push your car or help change a tire, pick up the tab for a military member that he sees in a restaurant or store. And he hates the acknowledgement. He hates receiving attention because he’s just doing what he knows and feels is right.” Josh helps people even when he’s off duty.
Josh and Tamara have a daughter together and she says that when he gets home their daughter puts a smile on his face.
Congrats to Josh as he receives a $100 Visa gift card from Crown Buick GMC. He also gets another $100 Visa gift card from Demesmin & Dover Law Firm.
