Potential freshness warning signs to look for in a Christmas tree is how vibrant the green needles are and how easy it is for the needles to be plucked from the tree.

The Arc Foundation’s Festival of Trees in happening this weekend in Clearwater with tree and wreath sales benefiting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The Festival of Trees will start on November 19 and run through the 21st at the Long Center on North Blecher Road in Clearwater. General admission into the Festival of Trees is $5 with children under 5 getting in free.

There will be over 300 Christmas trees and wreaths decorated by local organizations that will be for sale at the festival. This is the festival’s 37th year and will having appearances from Santa, live performances and crafts for kids.
