‘Sanding Ovations’ On Treasure Island Happening This Week And It’s Free

If you are looking for something to do this weekend and want to see wonderful sand sculptures then make sure you head to Treasure Island.  Sanding Ovations, which is free, is happening this Thursday through Sunday (Nov. 19-22) and it is called “Sanding Ovations Presents: Sandhenge, A Sand Sculpting Exhibition.” There are also other things to do other than see the sand sculptures as they have a food court, arts and crafts marketplace and three days of live entertainment. Tropical Storm Eta was a concern for the event but they said on their website, “The water from Tropical Storm Eta has receded and the event will go on as planned. We look forward to seeing you Nov 19-22 on the beautiful beach in Treasure Island, FL.”
