Brian Kelley Talks Life After Florida Georgia Line
Brian Kelley called in to Tampa Bay’s Hometown Morning Krewe to talk about life after Florida Georgia Line. Firstly, Brian has a new song out called “See You Next Summer”. Additionally, he was a part of FGL with Tyler Hubbard and they were a highly successful duo. Their songs include “Cruise” and “Get Your Shine On”, but they are now on a indefinite hiatus.
We asked Brian is it is easier to write for himself instead of two people. He told us, “I’m so proud of us and everything that we were able to do. Forever grateful. But when you’re trying to represent yourself and it’s kind of this solo thing yeah I think for me, it’s easier to kind of filter out lines and ideas.”
Tyler and Brian decided that they wanted to their own solo project. “See You Next Summer” is Brian’s first charted single. He did release a EP in 2021. Tyler has relased two very successful song s in “5 Foot 9” and “Dancin’ In the Country”.

In May of 2023, she canceled her Courage World Tour to concentrate on her health.
