A fan gets tackled on the field during his proposal. This video is going viral after after a Dodgers fan tried to propose on the field Thursday night at Dodger Stadium.
The video shows Ricardo Juarez running onto the outfield wearing Mookie Betts‘ No. 50 jersey, dropping to one knee, pulling out a ring and proposing to his girlfriend in the stands. But the romantic gesture quickly turns violent when he is slammed by stadium security and tackled to the ground. The ring went flying into the air.
Seconds later more security arrives pinning Juarez to the ground and handcuffing him. When they finally let him get up to escort him off the field, he got a standing ovation.
Ricardo thought this would be the perfect way to propose as he and his girlfriend love baseball and are big Dodgers fans. The proposal didn’t got as planned.

Ramona Saavedra is wearing the ring after she said yes. She posted a picture on Instagram. She said the proposal was a bit extreme, but of course she said yes.
The celebrations for Dodgers fans continued with an 8-2 win over the Diamondbacks to kick off an exciting season.
