The Buccaneers Will Wear The Creamsicle Throwbacks In 2023
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced that they will wear their creamsicle throwback uniforms in 2023. Their helmet will even include the old Bucco Bruce logo.
The NFL announced that teams will be able to add one alternate helmet starting in 2022, but the Buccaneers have to wait until 2023 to wear the creamsicle uniforms because of global supply chain issues.
“Due to global supply-chain challenges, we will have to wait one more year than hoped,” the team said in a news release on its website. “This is the earliest that Nike can finish production of the orange uniforms.”
There was not an announcement about who they will wear the uniforms against or the date the game will happen.
The Bucs also announced that the team will be playing a game in Munich, Germany during the 2022 season. The opponent and date for the game have not been announced. This is the first NFL regular season game played in Germany and they game will be played at Bayern Munich Stadium.
Big news, Krewe! Throwback uniforms returning in 2023 🧡
