12-Year Old Boy’s Random Act Of Kindness To Help Disabled Man Warms Heart
This is such a great story – it’s what we did for our Feel Good. We had some calls from our QYK Family who wanted to donate to the GoFundMe for 12-year-old Raymond Butler and his random act of kindness.
Here is a quick recap of the story…but I encourage you to read it entirely from WPTV.com
Raymond Butler, who is just 12, saw a disabled man trying to mow his yard while sitting on his mobility scooter and offered to help. He cut the grass for free and has formed a bond with Gary Barnes and Raymond now comes over to help him with odd jobs and to go fishing.
Raymond lives with his grandparents, who don’t have a car, so he rides his bike the 10-miles to get to school and practice, and Gary noticed that he could also use some new clothes for school. So he started a GoFundMe to pay for it and donations have been rolling in, more than $2-thousand so far. Gary’s wife is going to take Raymond shopping, and they plan to donate the extra money to help kids in need.
