Levi’s, the jean people say we are entering a new era of Jeanliness? Well, sort of. We are looking at you, skinny jeans.
Their CEO says we are in a new denim cycle. Those silly skinny jeans are out, and we are now back in the wide-leg denim jeans world. I’m not sure I ever got past the boot cut jeans, but we’ll go with it. They tell us the skinny jean thing lasted about 10 years. I think they meant to say yoga pants, but won’t argue.
The Levi’s folks say skinny jeans will never disappear forever, but they are getting more people looking for a more relaxed, looser fitting, relaxing denim. Can you say, “Pandemic 15”? Haaaa. Loose-fitting pants are better now? Shocking. Not.
