How To Impress Your Date. Name Your Poison. If You Know What It Is.
When you were a kid tryin to be “cool”, did you sample some Boones Farm 20/20? Some did. And it was flat out nasty. Jus sayin. But, when you’re tryin to impress, you get the best gut bustin wine money can buy, right?
If you need to make a good impression on a first date, 3 out of 5 folks say “a martini” is the way to go. (Thank you Bond. James Bond)
Fast forward well in to your 20’s, and apparently you have “settled” on your drink of choice. This study says the average person picks their “quality booze” at around age 27. Mine was Tanqueray. Just a couple. My friends called it “pine tar” but I liked it.
Later discovered one of the more expensive gins in the world. It’s called is Nolet’s Silver Dry Gin. It’ll run ya about $83bucks in US. Worth it. Much more impressive on a date. But. it may cut in to your tip money a bit.
When did you discover your “drink”? The big 3 cocktails that people think are the coolest, most sophisticated are: Martini, Manhattan, and Old Fashioned.
They also say in the article link below, the worst first date drink is the “Long Island Ice Tea”. 22% of people say that would give them a bad impression. But, you may have the most fun. (I’ve heard)
