PHOTO: Tampa Bay Lightning Release New Reverse Retro Jersey

We are going back in time with our Tampa Bay Lightning. Well, kind of…

All 31 teams in the NHL have teamed up with adidas to make Reverse Retro jerseys to bring back the good ole days and have fans remember unique and historical moments in each club’s history.

“Our goal from day one has been to work with the NHL and all of the teams to bring creativity, innovation, and energy to the sport with all that we do. What better way to do that than to bring together the nostalgia of historical moments in each team’s history with something new via designs that have never been seen before in the sport.”

Specifically, the Lightning Reverser Retro jersey takes us back to our first Stanley Cup win in 2004. It’s pretty cool how they are using the original logo and creating something new with it. Couldn’t think of a better time for this new jersey to be dropped, since its throwing back to 2004 but getting released the year our Lightning won the Stanley Cup for the second time. Tampa Bay’s adidas Reverse Retro ADIZERO Authentic Jersey is available for pre-order RIGHT NOW through November 30 exclusively at Tampa Bay Sports locations at AMALIE Arena and International Plaza, and on TampaBaySports.com.
