New Country Artist Joins Tampa Pig Jig Lineup
A new country artist joins Tampa Pig Jig line up. We’ve got big news to share! We are excited to announce that Chase Rice has been added to this years lineup for Pig Jig 2024.
If you love music by the waterfront, great food, cold drinks and a ton of fun, you will definitely want to be at this years Pig Jig. Named, the Best Charity Event by Tampa Magazine, will be another huge event you do not want to miss.
This years event will be held once again at Julian B. Lane in downtown Tampa right along the Riverwalk on Saturday October 19th. Chase Rice has just been added to the Tampa Pig Jig lineup. This is because Muscadine Bloodline had to pull out of the line up. Recently, we found out that Muscadine Bloodline canceled the remaining Coastal Plain Tour dates to join Post Malone on tour. That’s a pretty awesome opportunity, so we don’t blame them at all.
So your official Tampa Pig Jig line up will now include: Dierks Bentley, The Revivalists, Chase Rice, The Cadillac Three and Greylan James. This is going to be an amazing show.
The event, presented by RIPA & Associates, Valley Bank, and The Baldwin Group, donates proceeds from
the Tampa Pig Jig to NephCure, funding critical research in its quest to find a cure for rare kidney disease.
It has quickly become one of Tampa’s favorite fall events, combining live music, games, an amateur
corporate barbecue competition, and delicious food and drinks into one fun-filled day.

How Tampa Pig Jig Started
It all started with a group of friends who threw a BBQ in their backyard to help out their buddy Will. Will Wellman was faced with medical expenses associated with his FSGS diagnosis and his friends wanted to help. So, what began as a backyard competition among friends gained steam and grew into the Tampa Pig Jig. Now it’s an annual waterfront fundraiser featuring nationally recognized country and rock music artists, delicious food, ice-cold beer, a corporate BBQ competition, and more!
