Massive Ground Beef Recall
There is a massive ground beef recall and it isn’t just in Florida, but all over the United States. So this nationwide recall has been issued for greater Omaha ground beef products. Those products may be contaminated with E. Coli, 0157:H7. That strain of E. coli is known to cause severe intestinal infections in humans.
So, the affected items were packaged on March 28, 2024, with a use freeze by date of April 22, 2024. There is a USDA market inspection that says EST.960A inside the packaging. Additionally, the ground beef was shipped to restaurants and retail locations throughout the United States.
The items that were affected are no longer for sale, but if you have them in their freezer, you need to know about this and then throw them away.
