A Tampa tourist attraction has been voted as the most boring in Florida. Yes, most boring. A website by the name of Solitaired put together a list of the Top 100 most boring tourist attractions in the world. So, the Tampa tourist attraction is the most boring in Florida and Top 10 in the world. The Tampa tourist attraction voted most boring in Florida is the Museum of Science and Industry, also known as MOSI.

So how do you determine a list of the most boring tourist attractions? Well, this website analyzes 66.7 million Google reviews. They looked at the 3,290 popular tourist attractions worldwide in 71 countries. Then they looked at 11 keywords that said that the attraction is the most boring.

The Museum of Science and Industry in Tampa came in #7 overall in the world. There were 4,469 total reviews of the tourist attraction and it had a boredom score of 3.10 out of 5.

Additionally, they looked at which US states had the highest boredom score. Florida came in #5 overall. The website said that there are 104 boring attractions in our state and have an average boredom score of 3.5 out of 5. The most boring state according to this site is Georgia. It has 21 boring attractions for a boredom score of 5.0 out of 5.

I don’t like that the Museum of Science and Industry is in the Top 10 on this list. I think it is a fun Tampa tourist attraction. I went there as a kid on many field trips and loved it every time.

It can be risky to sign them up for an expensive 5-6 week camp for a new experience they might lose interest in quickly. Then it becomes a fight to get your kid out the door during summer to a camp they hate. So if your kid loves soccer, maybe they can join a different sports summer camp to learn new skills that can ultimately help them with their main interests. But they might not have any interest whatsoever in an arts or STEM camp.
