Kacey Musgraves Is Coming To Tampa This Year
Kacey Musgraves is coming to Tampa this year. She has been busy promoting her new album called Deeper Well on March 15th. Along with her new album, she is also booked an appearance Saturday Night Live for March 2nd. And that’s not all she has going on.
She just announced a big tour and Tampa is on the list of places she will stop.
Ticket Information
She will perform at Amalie Arena on 11/29 for the Deeper Well World Tour. Presale tickets will start on Thursday March 7th at 10am and General on sale will be Friday March 8th at 10am. Lord Huron & Nickel Creek will open the show. Tickets available through Ticketmaster.com starting next week.
Probably one of the best voices in country music, Kacey is a show you don’t want to miss. I’ve seen her only twice. Once after the Tampa Rays Game as part of their concert series and another time it was before the Kenny Chesney/Eric Church show at Raymond James Stadium back in 2013 for the No Shoes Nation Tour. The year after that she opened for Zac Brown Band in 2014. Can’t think of anytime after that she was here? Her songs are so different then anything out there, think that is why I enjoy listening to her.
Music
Throughout her career, Musgraves has won seven Grammy Awards, seven Country Music Association Awards, and three Academy of Country Music Awards.
Her fourth studio album Golden Hour (2018) was her biggest to date. Golden Hour won all four of its nominated Grammy Award categories, including Album of the Year and Best Country Album. The album’s first two singles, “Space Cowboy” and “Butterflies”, won the Grammy Award for Best Country Song and Best Country Solo Performance. Musgraves’ fifth studio album, Star-Crossed (2021), became her fourth top-ten album on the Billboard 200.
This past year, she was featured on the single “I Remember Everything” by Zach Bryan, which debuted at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and won a Grammy Award for Best Country Duo/Group Performance.
Another project she is working on is a unique collaboration with Etsy, Kacey has curated a virtual mood board that fans can shop from and gain inspiration. She said while making this album she kept saving pieces that were true reflections of where her head was at aesthetically. She said on nights she couldn’t sleep, she would browse Etsy and love it. It’s also an opportunity to put money in the pocket of actual creators. Kacey’s collection includes textiles, pottery, jewelry and more, very much like what you see in the video for “Deeper Well.”
