Seems like a lot of people are complaining more and more about Taylor Swift taking over the NFL.  This dad shares good advice for NFL Taylor Swift Haters.  I saw this article on Upworthy.com and wanted to share it with you because I think it has a great message.

Before we get started, I am a Taylor Swift fan.  I listen and stream all her albums, seen her in concert about 5 times, I have met her about 4 times and I don’t care one bit that the NFL shows her at Chiefs games.  Personally, I think she has helped.  But there are many out there that are not happy about the attention she gets during the Kansas City Chiefs games because she dates Travis Kelce.

I love this post that one dad made telling NFL fans and dads, to just get on board with it.  In the video below, he explains how this past yeaer he and his young daughter have grown closer together all because of his love for the NFL and her love for Taylor Swift.

Many think that Taylor is over saturated and she has ruined football, but this dad has a different perspective.  He said this past year, he and his daughter have spent more time together then he can remember.  She is now interested in football and asks her dad about the different calls during the games and is getting more interested in the game.  It’s something that he is passionate about and now his daughter is too.  They even make “dates” together to watch football on Sundays.  Something they never did before.   He gives advice for teenage girl dads.  Telling them to stop fighting it and embrace it.  It’s good for your relationship with your daughter.

John R who has the TikTok account, Curmudge_john2.0,  describes the very first football game he went to with his daughter.  Sitting in snow, single-degree weather, and had the best time of his life because he was with his teenage daughter.  He explains how good this is for he and his daughter.   None of this would have been possible for him to do.  Since Taylor started dating Travis Kelce, he has been able to have these father/daughter moments he would have never had before.

So, before you go and get all upset about the cameras on Taylor Swift all the time, think of John and his daughter.  Embrace it and accept it.

How Has Taylor Swift Helped The NFL

Take a look at more of these stats since they started dating.

In October that Swift helped to add $122 million to the NFL’s brand value.  She tips stadium workers with $100 bills.  Network viewership has increased 53% in females this past year.  Travis Kelce’s jersey online sales spiked near 400%, according to the NFL’s merchandise company, the day after she was seen at the first game. So yeah, Taylor Swift and the NFL, in my opinion, is good for everyone.

 

 

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce: Cute Photos Of Them Together

The Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce romance continues, and more cute photos of them emerged this weekend.

They already had what some call a “hard launch” of their relationship when they showed on on Saturday Night Live last week. Taylor has been to four Kansas City Chiefs games. She went to the first one against the Bears in Arrowhead, then went to the Chiefs/Jets game when they played at Met Life Stadium, and then she was at the Thursday night game when the Chiefs played the Broncos and the Chiefs vs Chargers game yesterday.

It was a whirlwind few weeks for Taylor, as her movie, officially called Taylor Swift: The Ears Tour Movie broke major records. I got to see it yesterday and it’s incredible. Also, make a note that it is three hours long just like the real concert. Taylor was in LA for the Eras Tour Movie premiere then she flew right to Kansas City Thursday morning for Travis’ game on Thursday night. Then they flew to NYC together, stayed there for the weekend. She then flew from NYC to LA and Travis went from LA to Philly for the Phillies game with Jason Kelce and then back to Kansas City just in time to record his “New Heights” podcast on Tuesday, which comes out on Wednesdays.

And to think, it all started when Taylor Swift brought The Eras Tour to Arrowhead in Kansas City, Travis revealed on his New Heights podcast that he went to the show and that he made her a friendship bracelet with this phone number. He wanted to give it to her, but unfortunately, she didn’t meet him. Turns out she did meet him after all. In fact, during a press conference this week, Travis said he had the mustache the first time he met Taylor, which means if you’re following the timeline of their relationship, they met in the beginning of August.
