There is a city right here in Tampa Bay that will be featured on HGTV. The city will be featured on the competition show called Rock the Block. So, Treasure Island is the Tampa Bay city that will be featured on HGTV. It will be the fifth season of Rock the Block, and it is hosted by Ty Pennington. The season will begin March 4 at 9 PM. You will also be able to stream the show on Max.

The way the show works is that there will be four teams. Looking to add the most value to homes. The homes will be located on Boca Ciega Bay and each team will be given $250,000 to work with. Jonathan Scott of the Property Brothers will be the judge and will decide the winner of the competition show.

The Teams On Rock The Block Treasure Island

There are four teams from HGTV shows that will be on the show. Bryan and Sarah Baeulmer from the show "Battle on the Beach". Secondly, Keith Bynum and Evan Thomas from "Bargain Block". Next, Lindsay Lamb and Leslie Davis from "Unsellable Houses". Finally, Page Turner and Mitch Glew from "Fix My Flip".

What I find interesting is that Mika and Brian Kleinschmidt from the show called "100 Day Dream Home" are not involved the reason why it’s interesting is that their show is based here right in the Tampa Bay area. The premise of the show is that they both design and build the perfect house for families in 100 days or less. Every single home is featured right here in the Tampa Bay area.

Why It's Called Treasure Island

Treasure Island got its name in the early 1900's. Some property owners in the area attempted to boost sales of the properties on Treasure Island by burying and then pretending to discover wooden chests. They claim that the chess were filled with treasure, and then people began calling it Treasure Island.

That is cruising gives travelers a variety of ways to see the world, one port at a time.
