Lakeland RN Honored By Her Mother
Today a Lakeland RN was honored by her mother for First Responder Friday. We had the pleasure of talking to Lindsey about her daughter McKenzie who is a Registered Nurse at Lakeland Regional. McKenzie works in the Emergency room and is a recent graduate from Polk State College. Class of 2023! Her Mother Lindsey told us that her calling to become a RN started back in high school. McKenzie suffered from asthma attacks that caused her to be hospitalized on several occasions. After working with nurses she was inspired to become one herself. Her mission to be compassionate and help people has led her to this career path. It was an honor to recognize this Lakeland RN and we wish her luck as she begins this new season in her life.
