Extreme Holiday Show Coming To Sarasota
An extreme holiday show is coming to Sarasota. Daredevil and tight rope walker, Nik Wallenda, will be putting on the show. It is a holiday production and it is at the University Town Center. The event is in collaboration with Sarasota’s Circus Arts Conservatory. The name of the show is called, ‘A Brave New Wonderland’. It will feature talent from all over the world. There will be jugglers, contortionists, a comedian, and aerial artists among other acts. Nik Wallenda and his family will also be making an appearance performing a high-wire act. The show will run from November 18 to December 31. Showtimes will vary and ticket prices will range between $30 and $75.
Nik Wallenda’s High Wire Career
He is a seventh-generation American acrobat, aerialist, daredevil, high wire artist and author. Nik has performed many high-wire performances without a safety net. He holds 11 Guinness World Records for various acrobatic feats and is best known as the first person to walk a tightrope stretched directly over Niagara Falls.
Firstly, he began performing in circus acts as a child and made his professional tightrope walking debut at the age of 13. Secondly, in 1998, he decided to pursue high-wire walking as a career. Finally, Nik Wallenda is also an author. He has written two books, “Balance: A Story of Faith, Family, and Life on the Line” and “Living on the Line: The Wallenda Legacy.”
