Tampa Gas Station Sells Big Winning Lotto Ticket
A Tampa gas station has sold a big winning lotto ticket. Unfortunately for the man it wasn’t the Powerball jackpot. The man purchased the winning scratch off ticket at the Active Food Mart. That is located at 1401 West Waters Avenue in Tampa. That is located on Waters a little west of Florida Avenue. The man played the “$1 million A Year For Life Game”. Although he didn’t win $1 million a year for life, he won a $1 million prize. The man chose to receive his prize as a lump sum of $640,000. The Tampa gas station that sold the winning lotto ticket will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling it.
There are still 161 $1 million prizes to be won with this scratch-off game. Both grand prize winning prizes are also available. The grand prize is $1 million a year for life.
The Florida Lottery is celebrating 35 years. They say on their website, “The Florida Lottery is responsible for contributing more than $44 billion to enhance education and sending more than 950,000 students to college through the Bright Futures Scholarship Program. The Florida Lottery reinvests 99 percent of its revenue back into Florida’s economy through prize payouts, commissions to more than 13,000 Lottery retailers and transfers to education. Since 1988, Florida Lottery games have paid more than $85.8 billion in prizes and made more than 3,566 people millionaires.”

The Top 4 Walmarts In Tampa Bay
There are so many different stores to choose from when it comes to shopping for groceries and general household items. Some people are diehard Publix or Target fans, but what about Walmart? Walmart comes in all shapes and sizes. You can find one almost anywhere, at any time and usually it will be open whenever you need it. That’s exactly what makes Walmart … Walmart. We asked you on social media to help us find the top Walmarts in Tampa Bay and you didn’t disappoint.
What’s Walmart like?
Walmart is my go to place for grocery shopping. They have everything you need at a low price and you’re not going to be paying $30 for 4 rolls of toilet paper. The low prices mixed with the late store hours make it a prime place to shop for almost anything. On the other hand, the low prices, late store hours, and size of the store are also what make it a trifecta blend of wild behavior … if you choose the wrong location.
Back in 2015, Port Richey’s Walmart was the hub of crime in the city. Nearly half of the crime taking place in Port Richey was at the local Walmart. Did they have low prices? Absolutely, but price cuts probably weren’t the only cuts you’d be leaving with.
What defines the top Walmart in Tampa?
You can’t focus on the good without acknowledging the bad. There are a lot of very nice Walmarts out there. Some might disagree, but I know what I’ve seen. If the shelves are stocked, the aisles are fairly clean, and the restrooms are usable, you’re having a good Walmart experience.
They have TVs for hundreds of dollars cheaper than other places and you can even save hundreds on tires for your car/truck. You can find nearly anything you need at Walmart. Here are the 4 top Walmarts in Tampa Bay and the 2 worst.
