Tampa Bay’s Hometown Morning Krewe

Weekdays 6:00AM - 10:00AM

Today a Pinellas County EMT was honored for First Responder Friday. Kimberly reached out to us today to recognize her friend Megan. Megan has worked with Sunstar for the last 3 years in Pinellas County. Even more exciting Megan just completed her classes at SPC and now is a paramedic. She was first inspired to go into this line of work because of her brother. After watching her brother, who was born with disabilities, get medical attention Megan wanted to serve those in need as well. This Pinellas County EMT’s call to serve is one that deserves to be honored. In addition to recognizing her with Tampa Bay’s Hometown Morning Krewe we were able to give her a small token of our appreciation. With the help from our friends at Crown Buick GMC and Demesmin & Dover Law Firm Megan received $200 in gift cards.

Every Friday we honor a first responder in Tampa Bay. Do you have someone in your life that is a first responder? Someone that you admire, a relative, a friend? Whoever it is that you want to spotlight. We want to hear from you, and you can nominate someone right now by doing so HERE. The nomination process takes about five minutes. Once you nominate someone we will be in touch with you to schedule a call with you.

Beat The Heat: 7 Best Indoor Spots To Watch The Bucs In Tampa

Football season is finally back! While game tickets are much cheaper than last year because of Tom’s retirement, it’s still almost better to watch the game at these Tampa spots. First, you get to beat the heat and watch the game in some AC. Secondly, you’ll most likely be able to see what else is going on in the league that day. Lastly, while we said game tickets are cheaper this year, you’ll still cough up a lot of dough for parking and stadium food. Save some money by just drinking a couple beers at these places! These are our favorite spots in Tampa to watch a Bucs game when we can’t make it to Raymond James Stadium.

As fun as it is to hear the canons fire for touchdowns, making it to most home games can be challenging. Not to mention that we would turn into a puddle of sweat before the first quarter is even over. Sometimes we prefer to be able to sit down, relax, and still enjoy some Buccaneer football in an air conditioned environment. And since we love our Bucs here in Tampa, we’ll always be surrounded by fellow fans.

Any spots in Tampa or St. Pete that we missed? Share your favorite game day spot on Facebook or Twitter!
