The 89th Florida Strawberry Festival will be happening February 29 through March 10, 2024 in Plant City. Now, there is a theme for it. The theme for the Strawberry Festival next year is ‘Out of This World’. There is a different theme for every year of the festival , and this year, the festivals character wears sunglasses, waves, a peace sign, while holding a plate of strawberry shortcake. And of course, there is a UFO behind him.
The Florida Strawberry Festival runs 11 days in Plant City. More than 600,000 people go to the festival every single year. It will have concerts at their stadium, youth livestock shows and a midway full of rides.
“The sky’s the limit,” said Florida Strawberry Festival President Kyle Robinson. “Our board of directors, staff and maintenance crew have been hard at work this summer planning and preparing an ‘out of this world’ experience for all our guests. We look forward to welcoming visitors from far and wide to BerryFest24!”
There has been no announcement yet on who will be headlining for the concerts this year at the stadium. But in the past people like Reba, Taylor Swift, Rascal Flatts and Willie Nelson have performed at the festival.
Gate admission to get into the Strawberry Festival is $10 for adults 13 and older. Children get in for just $5 and children under five are free with paid adult admission. There is also discount gate admission. Those tickets will be available February 1 through March 10 at participating Publix stores. Gate admission tickets will just be $8 for adults 13 and older. $4 for children ages 6 to 12 and again children five and under will still be free. The festival hours are 10 a.m. to 10 p.m and the midway hours run from 12 noon til 11 p.m. Additionally, on March 9 they will have moonlight magic which runs from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.
