Sarasota is one of the best cities in America for renters according to new research from RentCafe. 140 U.S. cities were compared to come up with the list. They also looked at 20 metrics including apartment quality, local economy, traffic, air quality, job growth, the cost of living and unemployment rate. The 20 metrics were then grouped into 3 main categories: cost of living and housing; local economy; and quality of life.
Sarasota renters should be happy because Sarasota came in #11 in the U.S. There are three other Florida cities in the Top 20. Fort Lauderdale comes in at #14, Orlando is #16 and Jacksonville is #17.
