Shocking Video Shows Hillsborough Deputy Rescuing Mother and 5 Kids In Riverview

There is a shocking video that shows a Hillsborough deputy rescuing a mother and her five kids. This happened on 301 in Riverview. Sgt. Donnie Rizer saw a minivan that was overturned on 301 in Riverview on Thursday afternoon. He jumped into action with the help of good Samaritans to help rescue the mother and her five kids.

After the mother and four kids were rescued there was still one child that needed to be rescued. Sgt. Rizer crawled in a rescued the last child. “As I’m coming through the window I could see his finger moving at that point it elevated, I said, ‘OK, he’s in here, where’s he at,” Rizer said. “To see how glad he was to get out of that belt and come out of that vehicle in my arms, that was probably one of the most gratifying things you could ask as a law enforcement officer or as a human being.”

  • Seneca Lake, New York

    Seneca Lake is the biggest of the 11 glacial Finger Lakes. It’s 38 miles long and more than 618 feet deep, making it one of the deepest lakes in America. What’s extra cool is that the U.S. Navy even does some testing for submarines in this lake, because of its depth.

  • Lake Santeetlah, North Carolina
