Lightning Playoff Watch Parties In Tampa
The Bolts are back in the playoffs! There are some Lightning playoff watch parties in Tampa, so you can watch the games with fellow fans. The Lightning have won two of the past 3 Stanley Cups. They are have been in the Stanley Cup Final for the past three years.
Aren’t Lightning playoff watch parties the best? Getting together with other Bolts fans to watch a playoff game is always a great experience. There are a few happening around Tampa. The schedule for the playoffs hasn’t been released yet, but you can always check out the Lightning website.
Here are a few watch parties…
- Thunder Alley – this is located right outside of Amalie Arena. If you don’t have a ticket to watch the game inside you can pay $5 to watch it outside.
- Sparkman Wharf – during away playoff games you can enjoy live entertainment and even an appearance from ThunderBug. On Sunday, April 16, from 12pm-3pm there is a playoff pep rally at Sparkman Wharf.

Tampa Hotel Named One Of The Best In The World
Firstly, a Tampa hotel has been named as one of the best new hotels in the world. The list comes from Travel + Leisure and they named the 100 best new hotels in the world. One of those hotels on the list is right here in Tampa. The Tampa Edition hotel came in at #41 on their list.
Here is what Travel + Leisure say about the Tampa Edition, “You’ll know you’re in Florida the minute you step into the lobby’s verdant forest of palm fronds. The Tampa Edition is located on Channelside Drive in the Water Street Tampa neighborhood. The hotel has 172 guest rooms, a gym and a spa.
