Outdoor Clearwater Concert Venue Coming This Summer
An outdoor Clearwater concert venue is coming this summer. This is a place that you most likely have seen a show at. The venue has been upgraded and will host concerts in a few months. We are talking about Coachman Park. Additionally, if you have been a listener of QYK then you have seen many country shows there. Remember Charliepalooza with Charlie Daniels? That was at Coachman Park in Clearwater for many years.
The new venue at Coachman Park is called The Sound and it will be operated by Ruth Eckerd Hall. “It is truly exciting to be able to share the name which has been under wraps these past weeks,” Susan M. Crockett, Ruth Eckerd Hall President and CEO said. “This will be an iconic venue offering a one-of-a-kind experience in Tampa Bay. The Sound will host great entertainment in front of Clearwater’s breathtaking sunset and is sure to be an artist favorite.”
The first concert at The Sound is scheduled for July 7th.

It’s binge drinker’s favorite holiday! St. Patrick’s Day is right around the corner and we want to share the best Irish pubs in Tampa Bay to celebrate. Many places around the Tampa Bay area will be serving up some green beer and Irish car bombs.
In a recent study done by WalletHub, Tampa ranks 9th for best cities in the U.S. for St. Patrick’s Day celebrations in 2024. Tampa takes over 3rd place for most Irish pubs and restaurants per capita. Which means there will be plenty of places to celebrate! WalletHub found this info by comparing 200 of the most populated cities across four factors: St. Patrick’s Day traditions, costs, safety & accessibility, and weather. We were shocked to find out that Tampa didn’t rank first in the weather category, it’s the most perfect time of year here in the Sunshine State. If you’d like to see how Tampa compares to other cities on the list, check out the full study here.
As we mentioned earlier, Tampa has a lot of Irish pubs to visit. There’s always a crowd at these places on the 17th.
