Could KFC be getting rid of a menu favorite? So, right now this is only test and only happening in Charlotte, NC, but could this be the beginning of the end for a menu favorite? KFC is dropping its Popcorn Chicken from the menu in Charlotte and replacing it with Chicken Nuggets. Again this is only a test. The new nuggets will be sold in three sizes 8, 12, or 36 pieces and will not be “snack size”.
Popcorn Chicken has been on the menu since 1992. This won’t be the first time it has been dropped. It has been dropped and brought back a couple of times. Hopefully the Popcorn Chicken will stay on the menu her in Tampa for the foreseeable future.
