Watch Out For Dinosaurs And Dragons In New Port Richey
Dinosaurs and Dragons are in New Port Richey, but they of course animatronic. You can see them at a traveling exhibit called “Dinos & Dragons.” The exhibit is at the Harry Schwettman Education Center in downtown New Port Richey at 5520 Grand Blvd. The event runs from December 9 through February 26. Hours of the exhibit at from 4-9 p.m. Tuesdays through Sundays.
There is more than 100 life-sized animatronic dinosaurs and dragons at the exhibit. Rides and a dinosaur dig pit is also available. Tickets are $20-$50 at dinoanddragonsnpr.com. The tickets are for a timed entry event.

Dinosaurs and Dragons are in New Port Richey. The exhibit is a fundraiser to build a permanent home for a collection of artifacts for the Museum of Archeology, Paleontology & Science.

Although the theme parks may not be cost-effective, there’s still plenty to do/see, especially if you’re a foodie. Orlando and Miami were tied for most restaurants per capita. Just a few hours away, there’s even more to do in Champa Bay. Tampa was tied for first in most festivals per capita. To our surprise, St. Petersburg did make the list at number 36, two spots behind Jacksonville.
