Richard Branson Makes First Virgin Atlantic Flight From London To Tampa
Richard Branson makes the first Virgin Atlantic flight from London To Tampa. This is the first time the airline has served Tampa International Airport and it’s the first route between Tampa and London’s Heathrow Airport. Also, Richard Branson was at Tampa International Airport wearing a Tampa Bay Buccaneers jersey while showing off the plane that will be making the route.
Additionally, Branson said of the new route, “As a pirate, it’s great to have taken over Tampa, to have made sure that the only way people can get to Britain from Tampa and go to the main airport there Heathrow is on Virgin Atlantic!”
The first Virgin Atlantic flight from London To Tampa has happened, but more flights are happening. They are starting service from Heathrow to Tampa four days per week. Those flights will be increasing to daily flights at the end of November.

Tampa International Airport Ranks Highest For Customer Satisfaction
The list for best and worst airports for customer satisfaction in North America is out and Tampa International Airport is #1. First, The survey is done by J.D. Power with airport satisfaction levels down 25 points from last year. The base the survey on a 1,000 point scale.
Also, 58% of people polled said that airport terminals as severely or moderately overcrowded. Others people say that the cost of food at the airport is too high. Secondly, 24% of travelers saying they didn’t make any food purchases because they were too expensive.
The airports are broken up into three categories: Mega, Large and Medium. The #1 Mega Airport is Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport with a score of 800 in customer satisfaction. Indianapolis International Airport is the top Medium Airport with a score of 842.
The worst airport in the Mega category is Newark Liberty Airport in New Jersey with a satisfaction rating of just 719. Also, Philadelphia International Airport the worst for Large airports with a 729. Hollywood Burbank Airport in California is the worst for Medium airports with a 763.
Finally, Tampa International Airport was named the best Large Airport for customer satisfaction with a score of 846. Check out the Top 10 for best large airports in North America below.
