Parker McCollum’s wedding didn’t go as planned.

We found out some details about it when we talked to Parker McCollum this morning about his upcoming show next weekend at Jannus Live.

This show sold out quick!  Parker is a Guitar Pull alum and has made a big name for himself.  He’s already got 2 big hits under him, “To Be Loved By You” and “Pretty Heart”.

His new single is called “Handle On You”.

Parker married Haille in his home state of Texas last year.  We found out that something happened at his wedding that didn’t go as planned.  We also talked about Guitar Pull last year and how Patty Maroon from the Tampa Bay Lightning said he really liked Parker’s set and then we told him how he got into that big fight the next day.

 

 

Three Florida Cities Named Best Cities For Dog Lovers

I would think that Tampa/St. Pete would make it on a list like this.  The Best Cities For Dog Lovers.

There are so many fun things to do with your pet in this area.  Beaches, great walking areas, dog parks, lots of dog friendly restaurants too.

Well, guess what? It made the list!  LawnStarter just came out with the list and  Tampa is  number 7 on the list!   Other Florida city, Miami, FL was number 2, but Orlando, FL was named the top city for dog lovers!!

They looked at 24 factors including dog events, dog-friendly restaurants, pet caretakers, boarding options and pet stores.

Here is the list in order

  • 1. Orlando, FL

    Orlando tops list with overall score of 50.908 for best services, pet caretakers, boarding and most dog groomers

  • 2. Miami, Fl

    Miami is #2 on the list.

Launa is part of Tampa Bay's Hometown Morning Krewe on 99.5 WQYK. She has been with the station for 7 years and joined J.R. and Kevin on the morning show 4 years ago. Since then, they have been nominated for not only a CMA but also an ACM. Launa has been in radio for the past 28 years and in the Tampa Bay market for 22 of those years. While working in radio, Launa has also served as an entertainment reporter on a local TV show and has hosted many charity events in the community. Using her popularity from QYK, Launa loves to help raise money for shelter animals and has been a volunteer at local shelters for years. Launa loves the community and writes articles on local news, entertainment, and events and highlights people who are shining in Tampa Bay that she knows others like her would also be interested in reading.
