“You Want To Be More Of A Friend Than A Mom”
Probably not the best approach to go after one’s parenting by saying “You want to be more of a friend than a mom.” However Tabitha is the one that reached out to us and wanted Andrew’s honest answer. He even said that it was not his place to judge. Let’s start from the beginning though.
The two checked out Datz in Riverview after be set up by some friends. Tabitha was really impressed by Andrew and felt very relieved by his thoughts on children. As a mother of two kids, Tabitha was really hoping Andrew would be ok with that. To her surprise, Andrew has no issue with dating someone with kids. His thoughts on her parenting however could be a problem. More on that in a minute. Tabitha went on about her date with Andrew saying he was someone who gave her butterflies. After walking her to her car Andrew gave Tabitha a hug and they said goodnight. All was well in the World in the mind of Tabitha.
Now this is where the Second Date Update got really interesting. Andrew came on with us and was very complimentary of Tabitha and their date. Now here comes the bomb drop. As we mentioned Tabitha is a mother of two and Andrew has some thoughts on that. Although he has no problem with dating someone with kids he does have some thoughts on parenting.
Andrew said the reason he has not reached out for another date is because Tabitha has some strange things going on at home. Obviously our next questions was “What are you talking about?” He explained that Tabitha mentioned that her kids who are 7 and 9 still sleep in her bed with her. This is when Andrew made the bold claim “You want to be more a friend than a mom.” Yikes! Check out her response and if it changed Andrew’s mind about a second date.
