Kevin Costner’s Yellowstone salary is insane.
Yellowstone is about to start it’s 5th season this fall and like us, many people are super excited about it. Yellowstone stars Kevin Costner, who is probably the most notable star on the show. He plays John Dutton, the head of the Dutton ranch. Not only does Kevin Costner star in the show, he also writes and produces the show, so he does make a little extra then others.
They offered him $500, 000 per episode to launch the show and the new network and he agreed, but now that has all changed.
Variety reported that his salary per episode is 1.3 million. Again, that is per episode. That puts him in an elite category of actors who make more then $1 million per episode.
Taylor Sheridan, the co-creator has one of the biggest shows on television right now and is branching out.
We watched 1883, starring Tim McGraw and Faith Hill and now he is creating another prequel called 1923 starring Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren, who will both be earing $1 million per episode.
Others on Yellowstone do not make as much as Kevin, Cole Hauser, who plays Rip Wheeler and Kelly Reilly, who plays Beth Dutton earn $200,000 per episode, which would come out to around $2 million per season, which, is pretty good money!
Yellowstone Season 5 is scheduled to premiere on Nov 13th. The new season will have 14 new episodes that will air in two arcs of 7 episodes. Yellowstone is found on Paramount Network and you can steam them via Peacock.
