Got A Kid? The $450 Check Is In The Mail. Almost. Close to 60,000 Florida Families will get help paying for everything from scho9l supplies, food, clothing and more from the state to help battle these inflation costs. The Governor’s Press Secretary sent out a tweet letting folks know the letters going out to families are indeed, real.
Florida families: These letters are real. These one-time payments of $450 per child are part of @GovRonDeSantis new budget. Please see the press release from First Lady @CaseyDeSantis roundtable on Hope Florida - A Pathway to Prosperity last week! https://t.co/wl3Uaz40vH pic.twitter.com/uAqI2Jxqo2

Families can expect one time check payments. They will be $450 per child from Hope Florida, administered by DCF. Only thing we don’t know yet, Who will qualify? So, you need to wait on the letter, we guess? The State of Florida has peeled off $35.5 Million bucks for the program. Reminds us of the stimulus checks. But, the the state is not calling them stimulus checks, pointing out they are not “printing money” but using funds already set up for family programs.
