Tampa Competitive Eater Is Once Again The Top Dog
A Tampa competitive eater is once again the top dog at the Nathan’s Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest. Miki Sudo ate 40 hot dogs and buns in 10 minutes to win the female division. This is her 8th title in the event.
Miki didn’t participate in the 2021 competition because she was pregnant with her son, Max. Miki and her fiancé, Nick, recently moved to Tampa Bay and they reside in Temple Terrace. Nick is also a competitive eater and finished 4th in the men’s division. Joey Chestnut won the competition for the 15th straight year.
Major League Eating says Miki is the #1 ranked female eater. She’s is also third overall. Her fiancé, Nick, is ranked fourth overall. She is obviously the top Tampa competitive eater.
Miki met Nick at a hotel gym before the 2018 Nathan’s Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest. Miki said, “I love to eat, I love to travel. I’m very competitive. I can make a little bit of money, but the more and more I do this, the more meaningful it has become. I met the love of my life who competes with me.”
Miki Sudo and Nick Wehry recently moved to Temple Terrace. They are a well-known competitive eating duo that hold impressive records individually and as a team. https://t.co/YnN6DQDHci
