Stealing desserts? Florida Man accused! Florida Man. Of course!
According to WFTV, police say 42-year-old John Castor is accused of breaking into the Red Wing Restaurant. Investigators say the man gained access to the eatery by breaking through a screen door in the rear.
The owner told authorities that Castor sat down inside the building with his dog and ate from a pan filled with cobbler. Afterward, they say he hopped on a bicycle and sped away form the scene.
When arrested, police say they found some more cobbler in a stainless steel pan, a lava cake, and a tub of ice cream in the man’s possession. Police valued the items at approximately $200.
Deputies say the suspect has been arrested for theft several times before.
