Heather Meade is the first responder we are honoring for First Responder Friday this week. Heather has worked as a crime scene investigator for over 20 years at the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office.

Tampa Bay Area Hidden Gems in to Explore on a Day Trip

  • Carillon Parkway Area

    Launa loves to take her dog for a walk to enjoy the cooler weather around the Carillon Parkway Area. There is a great walkway surrounded by tons of nature. A great place to just get away from the hustle and bustle of the day and clear your head.

  • Treasure Island

    One of the best places in Tampa Bay is Treasure Island. Super walkable with shops and a really cool beach vibe. With all that walking you are gonna get hungry and some of J.R.’s favorite places to get some grub are Ricky T’s Bar & Grille, VIP, and Sloppy Joe’s on the Beach. Finish the day off with a walk on the beach!

    It makes a great day trip to feel like you are on vacation and not super crowded with tourists.
