Did your Tampa Bay Area town get high marks from Zillow rankings? The Zillow folks run the numbers every year in the country’s Top 100 Metro Areas. They measure page views, housing, pricing, and demographics to see hot areas for vacation, retirement, and overall lifestyle and value.
Dunedin and St. Pete Beach came in as a hot retirement towns. Defined as areas with 33% of population over age 65. Dunedin was Number 2 in nation, followed by St. Pete. Holmes Beach got the Number 3 trophy for hot vacation towns, and Naples got the Number 2 spot for Beach towns.
My town (Seminole Indian Shores Beach) is not on the list, and I am Glad! If you love your town too like I do and it’s not on the list, let’s just keep that our little secret. OK?
