There is a new proposal that will make walking around and drinking alcohol at John’s Pass Village legal. Right now, if you are caught drinking alcohol while walking around you could be fined or arrested.
The proposal, if passed, will make most of John’s Pass Village in madeira Beach a wet zone except Gulf Blvd and Pelican Lane. The proposal still has to go through formal reading and vote before it gets approved.
A date for the reading and vote has not been set.
