Carole Baskin sues Netflix over Tiger King season 2. Everybody knows about the rivalry between The Big Cat Rescue CEO and Joe Exotic. Joe is serving 22 years for animal abuse and that murder-for-hire plot.
Enter “Tiger King 2” set to air November 17th on Netflix. Carole Baskin is now trying to put a stop to airing footage she says was filmed under false pretenses.
The Baskins agreed to film in 2014 through 2019. But, say filmmakers changed the subject from a documentary about her heroic advocacy to a story about Joe Exotic, making their rivalry the subject of Tiger King. The documentary shed light on the treatment of exotic animals and an even bigger light on the mysterious disappearance of her millionaire husband, Don Lewis. Stay tuned.
