Skate On A Real Ice Rink In St. Pete
There is a real ice rink that is coming to the St. Pete Pier next month called Winter Beach just in time for the holidays. The rink will be right next to Spa Beach at the Pier and the grand opening is on November 20th from 4-9 p.m. with regular hours 4-11 p.m. on weekdays and 11 a.m. to 11p.m. on weekends. January 17th will be the last day the rink will be in operation.
The skating rink at the pier is 4,000-suare feet and the centerpiece is Winter Beach and they also have a shopping village, food and holiday events. There will be themed nights like a country night and a ’90’s night. Skating at Winter Beach will cost $17 and you will be able to rent skates and skate around the ice rink for 75 minutes.
Santa will also make an appearance at the ice rink at the pier to take pics with the kids, although a date for his appearance hasn’t been announced yet.
Construction of the ice rink at the Pier will begin on Monday and a Christmas tree will be installed on November 19th just in time for the Grand Opening the next day.
Skaters in balmy St. Petersburg will have waterfront ice skating when Winter Beach opens Nov. 20 at the St. Pete Pier, the city just announced. It will be open daily through Jan. 17https://t.co/YjZt01j3O0
