I hated dressing up, BUT, the prize was a Toys R Us gift certificate, and mom made the costumes for my brothers and me. I won 2 years in a row. One year as a “Viking”, and the next year as a “Pack of Cigarettes”. Haaaa. Mom was good. I got a bike. Hehehe.
