Florida Officer Photobombed By Smiling Gator

A Palm Bay Police Officer captured this picture of an alligator who was stuck in a storm drain. When she went to take the photo, the alligator opened its mouth and looked like it was smiling.

Florida Officer Photobombed photo caption says, “When you’re just trying to take a normal sewer selfie and you get photobombed…..(At least he smiled 😬)”

The photo was also captioned with a very important reminder, “*Never approach or feed a gator, to report nuisance alligators call: 866-FWC-Gator **No animals (or officers) were harmed in the making of this photo. #YesItsReal #WelcomeToFlorida 🐊”

Palm Bay PD said they called Florida Wildlife Control to help remove the gator and relocate it to a new location. #OnlyInFlorida.

Alligators Love The Golf Course

Gators and the golf course go hand in hand like burgers and fries. Just to be safe, especially in Florida, always assume there is a gator or a croc in any body of water.
