Silver Surfer Lining At Indian Rocks Beach From Passing Storms
With almost all storms the gulf gets a little fired up. Tides are higher and in some cases, so are the waves. You can always check the Sunset Beach Surf Camera at sunsetbeachflsurfcam.com to see the best break on the Suncoast. A couple hundred surfers out there each day before, during, and after the storms. Those guys and gals are a mix of beginners and rippers. Even some Groms tearing it up. But, it gets crowded.
I’m still a rookie, but love it. Got out last night for a few quick rides on the paddleboard. I went to a break at Indian Rocks Beach. (Most locals hit Sunset Beach for the best and longest breaks) Even for beginners like me, a Great workout. Great fun, Great wipeouts. LOL. Hit the video for a quick glide along.
Fred is on the way through Alabama, Grace is not expected to threaten Florida at all. She will run through the Caribbean Sea toward Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula this weekend. And, this third system, (Henri) is located about 145 southeast of Bermuda, was upgraded to Tropical Storm on Monday evening. It was expected to only pose a threat to Bermuda over the next several days. Don’t think either storm will help us on the wave front. Maybe next times Grace & Henri.
