Tom Brady Had a Torn MCL The Entire 2020 Season
After the Bucs won Super Bowl 55 head coach, Bruce Arians, said that Tom Brady needed knee surgery and “He’s going to do a little cleanup.” That little “cleanup” was to repair a torn MCL in his left knee, which he played with the entire 2020 season. The injury actually happened in the 2019 season, his last season with the Patriots, and the injury kept getting worse during his first Bucs season.
Brady said this in June of this year, “It was an injury I dealt with really since last, you know, April, May. I knew I would have to do something at the end of the year, and happy I did it, and it was probably something that certainly needed to be done, and there was a great outcome, so I’m very happy about that.”
